Cerebral Palsy (CP) is a developmental disability caused by brain damage before, during or after birth which affects the person’s ability to move and control his/her muscles. In some instances the children develop other complications such as epilepsy, hearing and visual impairment, and thus need drugs which are also very expensive.
Namatsi Lukoye is Public Relations and Fundraising Officer for Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya (CPSK) a charitable organization dealing with children/persons afflicted by CP. Through this – she organizes the annual
Cerebral Palsy Charity walks. The walks which are the organizations main fundraising tool have been able to raise up to 8M kshs. The 2017 charity walk will be held on 7th October 2017
